The importance of vulnerability and safeguarding of employees in the workplace cannot be overstated. It nurtures a supportive environment that promotes mental well-being, productivity, and overall organisational success.

During this session, we will share together best practices related to employee vulnerability, recognising its significance in promoting mental well-being and productivity within the workplace. Key areas for discussion are - 

  • Understanding vulnerability - Exploring what vulnerability means for employees and its impact on individuals and teams
  • Building psychological safety & open communication – What strategies do you have to foster psychological safety, where employees feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, concerns, and ideas without fear of judgment or reprisal?
  • Managing stress and burnout - Vulnerability can be heightened during times of stress, what strategies do you provide staff with to manage stress and prevent burnout? 
  • Creating a culture of support – How do you ensure that every team member feels valued and supported? ie promotion of empathy, active listening, and collaboration etc
