The Times: Help your customers in tough times, lenders told by FCA

An articled written by Constance Kampfner of the Times discusses how The Financial Conduct Authority has written to the chief executives of more than 3,500 lenders.

Lenders are not doing enough to help vulnerable customers struggling with the rising cost of living, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned.

The regulator has written to the bosses of more than 3,500 lenders to remind them of the standards they should meet and to “treat borrowers fairly”.
