Angrynomics with Mark Blyth
Mark Blyth is a Scottish-American political scientist and a professor of international economics at Brown University. His research focuses on how uncertainty and randomness impact complex systems, particularly economic systems, and why people continue to believe certain economic ideas despite evidence to the contrary.
In June 2020, Mark and co-author Eric Lonergan published Angrynomics which explores the rising tide of anger, sometimes righteous and useful, sometimes destructive and ill-targeted, and propose radical new solutions for an increasingly polarised and confusing world.
Chief Executive, Anne Marie Forsyth caught up with Mark in November 2020 as part of the CCA Annual Convention.
